As a double graduate from Bridgewater State College in Athletic Training and Strength and Conditioning Nate has had the opportunity to work with collegiate athletes before, during and after injury. Nate was the graduate assistant Athletic Trainer for a number of sports for 2 years, and Intern Strength and Conditioning coach for the BSC football team. Nate assisted with the creation and development of a very successful reconditioning program for injured and out of shape athletes to return to full participation. Nate has also worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Boston College’s annual Football Camp.
Nate was a 3 sport varsity athlete while attending Bourne High School playing football, basketball and baseball. It was during college that Nate began strength training on a more serious level and joined the Olympic Weight lifting team while finishing graduate school. Nate’s passion for fitness is what drives him to help others become more physically active and meet their own goals. With a background in sports performance, Nate enjoys working with athletes of any age, sport or performance level.
Nate is an avid softball player and occasional golfer. Nate is also the co-founder of a strength and conditioning based website named www.athletesequation.com, offering assorted information, reviews, etc., from the world of strength and conditioning. In October of 2008 Nate and his wife became the proud parents of a baby boy.
