Fitness Philosophy:

Fitness is not merely about an exercise program and a “diet.”  It is quite simply a mind set and a way of life. To paraphrase Sir Issac Newton’s  First Law:  A body in motion tends to stay in motion; a body at rest tends to stay at rest.

I have been a fitness enthusiast all of my life.    I was an avid runner when I was younger having run a few marathons.  I have been a member of Plymouth Fitness for about 25 years, working out regularly during the entire time.  I practiced law for about 30 years as a low income housing advocate, representing homeless families exclusively for the last 20.  When I decided to retire from practicing law this past winter, I decided to combine my two passions: fitness and helping others, thus I launched my second career as a certified personal trainer.  I am also an avid hiker and hike leader. I recently completed the list of 48 four thousand footers in NH (I did my first one when I was 60).  I am a trained Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) leader as well as co-organizer of the Blue Hills Hiking Club.   I look forward to sharing my passion for a healthy and active lifestyle to help others lead healthier and happier lives.
