Fitness Philosophy:
“Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person’s physical, emotional and mental states.” -Carol Welch
“Never let things you cannot do prevent you from doing the things you can.” -John Wooden
“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” -George Bernard Shaw

Experience/Specialties:
I grew up playing a variety of sports like baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, and swimming. In college I was introduced to Rugby and fell in love with it. Even after graduating, I continued to play rugby and took up playing women’s professional football. Life threw me a curve ball at age 30, I was Diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. It changed my life. The struggles I have had to endure since then have been painful and emotionally draining, but I did not let it take everything away from me. With proper nutrition and exercise, I have been able to enjoy activities that I thought I had lost forever. Just because we get thrown a curve ball or are aging, it doesn’t mean that we have to stop doing what we love or give up. We just need to get up, dust ourselves off and start at a new beginning. Strive for attainable goals no matter how small they might be. That is a win! Fitness and movement do amazing things for our mind, body, and soul. I want to use my passion for fitness to help others reach their goals through their fitness journey.
