This is a Pilates Universal Reformer. It “reforms” your body through process oriented routines that develop strength, flexibility, stamina, cardiovascular endurance and skill through awareness.

 

But it looks like I have to be flexible to use the Reformer?

 

False: Pilates require no flexibility, it only develops it. With time, being flexible will challenge you even more. We approach Pilates as a movement system linked intelligently and with purpose for everyone from de-conditioned students to athletes.

 

But I’m a guy and men don’t take Pilates…

 

False again: Pilates was designed by a man (his name was Joe Pilates) FOR MEN! Joe was an athlete and boxer that loved his body and wanted to take care of it in the best way possible.
